Switching from iTunes to the new Apple music app is not going to be as hasty s you think. Songs brought via iTunes, or any other source will be available on the new music app as well. Also, the playlists created in iTunes will be present in the new app. There is no need to migrate anything. The iTunes credit and gift cards will still work, and you can utilize it to buy new music as well. Follow the mentioned steps to get started:
  1. Go to the Dock.
  2. Press the Music App icon to launch it.
  3. Provide your Apple password and ID when asked.
  4. You will be able to sign in on the iTunes store now.
  5. Press the Get Started Listening icon.
  6. You will now see two playlists, one that you have built and the other custom made for you.
  7. If the music is not visible after syncing the library with Apple Music, then press Show All Music icon.
  8. This option is also available at the View menu by the name of All Music.
